Vedova Piano

Inspired by the dynamism of the works of Vedova, the “Vedova/Piano” catalogue edited by Germano Celant, consists of two independent volumes joined by a hinge that allows them to rotate 360°. The books – published for the inauguration of the restoration and refurbishment of the exhibition space of the Fondazione Vedova at the Magazzini del Sale by Renzo Piano – not only analyse the relationship between Emilio Vedova and architecture, but also contain a survey of images of his artistic career, presenting the works displayed in the inaugural exhibition and giving a wide-ranging overview of the exhibition project, from its inception to the final completion, while also exploring the professional and human relationship between Vedova and Piano.
