Concludes the installation of the Non dove ‘Dischi’ created between 1985 and 1988 for their permanent display space at the Centro Arte di Villa Celle, at Santomato (near Pistoia), where a part of the work was made on site. The first Dischi to slice into the walls (brecce).
In the summer is again invited by Wieland Schmied to teach at the Salzburg international Sommerakademie für Bildende Kunst Salzburg to mount a big one-man show at the Kunstlerhaus with new installations and works from 1960-1980 (‘gigantografie’/blow-ups and accompanying documentation).
Contributes to the XLIIIth Venice Biennale and simultaneously to a historical show dedicated to “Il Fronte Nuovo delle Arti alla Biennale di Venezia del 1948”.
