1937

Between 1936 and 1937 his uncle Alfredo Mancini, husband of one of Vedova’s aunts and grandson of the better-known painter Antonio Mancini, having seen his work on a visit to Venice, decides to put him up in Rome for a year, where he could dedicate himself wholly to drawing and painting. During that period he is also able to visit Florence, Arezzo and Naples for the first time.
