In 1960, the publishing house Prestel Verlag, Munich, published Blätter aus dem Tagebuch, a book Vedova edited at every stage of the process, which included an autobiographical text and an epilogue by the critic Werner Haftmann.
Wins the Gran Premio per la Pittura at the XXX Venice Biennale – by the unanimous decision of a jury of seven international critics of world renown: Herbert Read (president), G.C. Argan, V. Aguilera Cerni, W. Haftmann, Z. Kepinsky, J. Leymarie and G. Marchiori.
Luigi Nono composes his first electronic work, christening it “Omaggio a Emilio Vedova”.
