After participating in the Biennale Nazionale d’Arte Contemporanea at Bari, undertakes an intense eighteen-month period of experiment and technical exploration: in Venice, at the ex-abbey of San Gregorio and in the Venini Glassworks on Murano, as well as in New York preparing his installation Percorso/Plurimo/Luce: his submission for the Italian pavillion at Montréal's "Exposition Universelle et Internationale" in 1967.
